It is a shame that more information isn't coming forth about some of the other photos on your site. An interesting piece you sent me. The bus reg number is a bit out though. Z isn't going to be used. and the FL of TFL belongs to Huntingdon and Peterborough. The numbers all change from September anyway. Here is one which could well be valid then. LU51 TFL where the LU is for London from the Sidcup office 51 the second half of 2001 and TFL is unique to the vehicle. An interesting article is it by you or someone from T-bus. To make people use public transport it has to be useable. All of these out of town shopping centres don't help do they. Public transport to them can be patchy. Just imagine going to one and carrying back several parcels to the bus outside, then traveling in packed conditions, having to push pash standing passengers to get of. Wouldn't it be nice if the transport went right inside the centre for alighting and boarding. Something that could only be done with electricity without filling the place with fumes. Attach a trolleybus picture, by AD Packer. I don't know if he is the photographer or just the copyright holder. The picture is of Trolleybus 518 FXH 518 on ropute 567. Barking - Aldgate - Smithfield. The bus is of type RTL being RTL109. LUC 284 on route 108 Bromley by Bow - Blackwall Tunnel - Eltham. This should help narrow down tho location of the picture. Did trolleybuses always travel down empty side streets in the East End? Best wishes John.
