I recall conversion posters being put on every single post when the 654 was converted, throughout the route; also similarly in later stages of the routes that ran down to the Clerkenwell area from the north; so I think this must have been standard(-ish) practice. The posts were LT property I believe.

Picture 46 shows a typical poster giving conversion information for trolleybus route 654.

I recall pulling one of the 630 notices off the standard on the last day and it remained in my collection of memorabilia for many, many years until finally space considerations forced its withdrawal from service.
